Child Safety Harness for Seat Belts
If you think your children are safe just because they’re strapped in, THINK AGAIN! Seat Belts are too big for children, because they are made for ADULTS – not children!   In fact, all seat belts fitted in cars in SA are designed, manufactured and designated as “Adult Restraints” and are therefore totally unsuitable and inappropriate for children less than 12 years of age or under 1,5 meters tall.

Why every parent should invest in a Child Safety Harness

It is law in South Africa that every motor vehicle must be fitted with SABS approved seat belts/restraints and that every passenger being transported in a motor vehicle must make be securely strapped in.   It is the drivers responsibility to ensure that all passengers are strapped in.  The child safety harness is suitable replacement for use from age 3 years up and even adults can use it!  It is Ideal for daily use in any car because it  is fully portable and easy to install.

How does it work?

Why  not protect your child by  giving them maximum comfort and the best possible support by getting a child safety harness?  It easily fits over the adult seat belt and clips into the standard seat belt.  It pulls away from the child’s neck thereby increasing comfort without compromising on safety.   Furthermore, it is transferable and easy to pack away.  The nylon material used in the Safety Child Harness makes it easy to keep clean.

NB: The Safety Child Harness is not license for under 12 year olds to occupy the front seat.  Children under the age of 12 should be seated in the backseat at all times.
